About Kelsey
Hey Everyone! My name is Kelsey and I took the leap in 2019 and started my own business. It started with Dog Walking and Animal Sitting, then I added Wedding Pet Attendant services. Finally I went back to school to be a Certified Dog Trainer and added Dog Training services. I went to Minnesota State University, Mankato and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelors of Science in Mass Media. I tried working in the corporate world, but realized that I need something more to fill my cup. With zero experience, I started from the ground up, learned how to be a small business owner at the age of 24 and have grown it ever since. Business is a never ending career, but it is my biggest passion, along with animals of course. Since I was a little girl, I have always loved and adored all animals and knew I wanted to do something with them. It took me awhile to realize how to make my passions a reality, but I did it. I am the mom to 2 pups, Maisie, and Bruce and 2 daughters, Rowyn (1 .5 year) and Charli (4 months) and love them so much!
Happy Tailz uses the LIMA, “Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive," approach. My trainers have years of experience under their belt to give the best overall experience with dog training as possible. We offer open communication as we believe asking questions is the best way to see results! We look forward to working with you soon!
Mission
Our Mission is to educate the public about the importance of dog training, breeds, and behaviors by using the LIMA method, but also to inform clients how best to handle their dogs in every situation. We will always be an open line of communication for questions to make sure you and your dog feel successful for a lifetime.
What Can You Expect From Us?
Professionalism: We will always come with our professional knowledge to each training session, be productive, answer questions, be responsible, interpersonal and on-time

Effectiveness: We will carry out the functions, tasks and plans as discussed. We will complete work according to deadlines, send plans within 24 hours via email after sessions, and improve the skills and knowledge of your dog.

Communication: We will always communicate with you whether its our opinion on how to improve your dogs skills, how to effectively train each command and why it is important, via email/text/phone call as well as in person.
